What should I pray for when I feel:

Angry

Ephesians 4:26- Be ye angry and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your anger.

Ephesians 4:31-32- Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  32 - And be ye kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

James 1:19-20- Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. 20 - For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Proverbs 15:1- A soft answer turneth away wrath; but grievous words stir up anger.

Proverbs 16:32- He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Matthew 5:22-24- But I say unto you. That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgement: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council; but whosoever shall say. Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23 - Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother has ought against thee. 24- Leave there thy gift before the altar and go thy way: first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

Worried

Philippians 4:6-7- Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 - And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19- But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory for ever and ever, Amen

I Peter 5:7- Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Matthew 6:25-32- Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.  Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 - Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 - Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 - And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 - And yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 - Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 - Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?  32 - (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Psalms 27:1-3- The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 - When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3 - Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

Discouraged

I Peter 1:6-9- Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 - That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ; 8 - Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory; 9 - Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

John 14:1- Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Depressed

II Corinthians 1:3-4- Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. 4 - Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Isaiah 61:3- To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD that he might be glorified.

Tempted

James 1:12-14- Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when his is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him. 13 - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. 14 - But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

Isaiah 55:10-11- For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 - So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Isaiah 59:1- Behold the LORD' hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

Financial trouble

Marital trouble

I Peter 3:1-7- Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives. 2 - While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3 - Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel. 4 - But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 5 - For after the manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands. 6 - Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord; whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. 7 - Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

What should I pray when I am in need of:

Courage

Romans 8:38-39- For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come. 39 - Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I Corinthians 13:1-8 & 13- Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 - And though I have the gift f prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 - And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4 - Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not itself, is not puffed up. 5 - Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 - Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 - Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 - Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 13 - Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.
